Long Story Short…

Philly is POUNDING the Panthers, 31-10.  Desean Jackson had a ridiculous punt return for a TD that started the rout.  Let the “Eagles to the Superbowl” week 1 knee jerk reactions begin.

The Eagles are delivering an early knockout blow to The Panthers.

The Eagles are delivering an early knockout blow to The Panthers.

Cleveland leads the Vikes 13-10.  Favre’s been quiet but no picks.  AD has 2 TD’s.

Atlanta 10, Miami 0.  I guess Atlanta got younger on D this year and apparently its working.

The New York Jets are shutting out The Houston Texans, 10-0.  Mark Sanchez looks ‘for real’ so far.

Baltimore (barely) leads the Chiefs, 10-7.  The SpreadSHREDDER thinks Baltimore is overvalued.  The SpreadSHREDDER is right so far (Baltimore, +13).

The Broncos lead the Bengals, 3-0.  Ugly game.

Colts 7, Jags 6.  These two teams always play close games, this should be no exception.

THE FOLLOWING SUBJECTS NEED A HALF TIME PEP TALK…

Jake DelhommeHe looks awful.  Just awful.  Jake Delhomme is like a turnover waiting to happen.

Miami DolphinsMiami’s abnormally high turnover ratio (which lead to an inflated value coming into week 1) is coming back to reality.  The Dolphins have already fumbled three times in the first half.
