College Football Insight Hindsight

College Football |
- Florida- Next week’s game at LSU will go a long way into determining who plays in the national title game, and if LSU wins, it will be neither LSU OR Florida.
- Texas
- Alabama
- USC- Brutal schedule (No Charleston Southern’s), Matt Barkley is getting more comfortable, and if they win out there is no doubt they should be #1.
- Virginia Tech
- Miami (FL)- Have proved they can win on the big stage, and against the big boys, time and time again. If this is a 2 loss team it should be a lock for a BCS bowl. That’s how tough their schedule is.
- Cincinnati
- Oregon- All the stars are aligning for them to win The Pac-10. Literally, Legarrette Blount might come back!
- Ohio St.
- Boise State- Looking at who they play, you can’t call it a ‘strength’ of schedule.
- TCU
- Auburn- Quietly reestablishing themselves as a serious threat in the SEC.
- Penn State
- Oklahoma- Polls dropped them all the way to 19. They’re competitive with a viable backup, and they should only get better upon Sam Bradford’s return.
- Oklahoma St.
- Kansas
- Iowa- They were somewhat exposed against Arkansas State, and it’s only a matter of time until they are fully exposed.
- BYU
- Ole Miss
- Nebraska
- Georgia Tech
- Michigan- An overtime loss on the road to a talented Michigan State team drops them out of the rankings in favor of Mizzou and South Carolina? Come onnnnn!
- South Florida
- Stanford- Strong in-conference play. It’s shocking that they’re not getting any love from the AP.
- Missouri
I HATE TO SAY I TOLD YOU SO, BUT…
Michigan St. DID beat Michigan outright.
USC DID have an ‘inspired’ win over Cal.
Houston DID lose outright to UTEP. We sniffed out this fraudulent Cinderalla story like a bomb-squad dog. So what if they beat Oklahoma State, they were overrated too.
OOPS!
Georgia DIDN’T beat LSU. But let’s face it, they should have. I’m just sayin’.

The LSU tigers had a thrilling last second victory over The Georgia Bulldogs. Needless to say, LSU is lookin' a whole lot better this morning.
Oklahoma DIDN’T beat Miami (FL) Outright. Big Game Bob, huh?
Virginia Tech DIDN’T cover at Duke.
Things to consider going forward: LSU vs. Florida. As mentioned above, this will carry a whole lot of weight in who eventually ends up in the BCS National Title Game. I don’t care what anybody says, Tim Tebow will play. Should the Gators lose, it will open the door for at least 5 teams to state their case. Let the cluster you-know-what begin.
