Drinking Games: Monday Night Football (Packers @ Vikings)
__________________________________________________________________________Introducing ‘Drinking Games’. The brand spankin’ new Athletic Dept. makes fun and games out of repetition. We realize that storylines drive prime time telecasts for all sporting events, and these storylines breed repetition of key people, places and things. Instead of complaining about the repetition of a given subject during a sports telecast, we decided to make a drinking game out of it.
[UPDATE!]Favre is being mentioned at a ballbusting pace. To avoid death to commenters, and after receiving some advice from people like you, ‘Every time Favre is mentioned, take a half of a shot’ is being taken off the board!
Therefore, as long as we exist, The Big Nasty Athletic Dept. will choose a telecast of a sporting event that is expected to be littered with occurrences that will occur more than once. Each time one of these occurrences happen, we’ll suggest that you take a drink. To avoid any liability on our part for your inebriation, the more we expect a given occurrence to happen, the less we’ll suggest you drink (in shots) and vice versa. Your drink doesn’t have to be alcohol (although what’s the fun in that?) and don’t drink and drive.

DRINKING GAMES: PACKERS @ VIKINGS ON MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL
Who said you couldn’t drink on Mondays? ESPN’s soon-to-be historic Monday Night telecast of The Packers vs. Vikings is sure to produce plenty of repetitive moments designed to develop intriguing storylines. So when they happen, don’t complain on the internet (because just like you’re sick of Favre, people are sick of hearing you complain about it), just take a drink.
- Whenever Brett Favre’s name is mentioned, take half a shot.
- Whenever Aaron Rodgers is sacked, take 1 shot.
- Whenever Adrian Peterson’s ‘strong handshake‘ is mentioned, take 1 shot.
- The Packers (+8) have the best turnover ratio in The NFL and they’re playing against Brett Favre, who is always prone to committing a turnover. After each Favre turnover, take 1 shot.
- Whenever Favre’s wife, Deanna, is shown on screen or mentioned, take 1 shot.
- Whenever Favre’s ‘love of the game’ is mentioned, take 1 shot.
- Whenever Favre is shown in a Packers uniform (during a video package, still, etc.) take 1 shot.
