It’s official: Packers/Vikings draw highest cable rating EVER
__________________________________________________________________________According to many media outlets and sources, The Monday Night Showdown between The Packers and Vikings drew the highest cable television rating in history. 15 million households, and an average of almost 22 million people, saw Brett Favre and The Vikings host Favre’s old team and new rival Packers.
Favre V. Packers drew the #1 cable rating of all time...OF ALL TIME!
It’s hard to tell what’s more impressive, the monster number that Favre v. Packers drew, or the fact that the game from Monday Night is the less intriguing of the two matcuhps Favre will have with his old team. Next time (Nov. 1) he returns to Lambeau Field to play The Packers! I motion the NFL put that on Pay-per-view just to watch Vince McMahon and Dana White sweat.
