Manny Ramirez Does Not Care About YOUR Dodgers
__________________________________________________________________________Yet another controversial Manny Ramirez story making the rounds involves a Manny bizarre detail of Manny Ramirez’s whereabouts while The Dodgers had their hearts ripped out in game 4 of The NLCS. Dude was in the shower.
That’s right, apparently a heartbreaking loss that may have been one of the final nails in The Dodgers’ 2009 season seems to be the least of their problems as another ‘Manny Being Manny’ incident strikes Dodgertown when they need it the least. Manny Ramirez’s early shower has received its inevitable share of criticism, and the incident makes pissing in The Green Monster during a regular season game look like – well – pissing in The Green Monster during a regular season game (I still don’t understand why that garnered so much attention).

Manny Ramirez had yet another vintage Manny moment when he decided to shower early during The Dodgers 5-4 loss to The Phillies.
The Dodgers still have one more year with the living breathing antonym for common sense, and as Manny’s production continues to erode, so will his interest in following any protocol that any reasonable person would abide by.
I’m not gonna Bill Plaschke Manny Ramirez for this one. I’ll leave the Bill Plaschkeing up to Bill Plaschke. But Manny Ramirez’s most recent inadvertent/advertent publicity stunt has most certainly signaled the beginning of the end of The Mannywood era in Los Angeles. This is walking to first base while faking injuries all over again and it is possible that we may be seeing the last of Manny Ramirez, period (see Barry Bonds).
I hope not. I’m still holding out hope that The Mets absorb that salary in a trade next year so Manny gets a chance to piss on Mr. Met in the showers during a 7th inning stretch at Citi Field. Tell em, Kanye…
Well, you get it.
