NFL Halftime Hindsight: Donovan’s back, Giants rolling, Cowboys just might be average afterall
__________________________________________________________________________LONG STORY SHORT…
Ravens 7, Bengals 3 Either The Ravens defense is slowly returning, or Carson Palmer still doesn’t have his stuff together.
Redskins 10, Panthers 2 The winner of this one won’t have to address questions of their coach’s job security this week.
Chiefs 10, Cowboys 3 If the Cowboys mess around and lose this one, it won’t be pretty in The Big D. Penalties and struggles on offense seem to be contributing to their imminent 1st half downfall. Is it too late to rescue T.O. from Buffalo? I’m just sayin’.
Browns 3, Bills 0 The Browns have been competitive these last two weeks, and seem to be playing with more heart after The Braylon Edwards trade.
Steelers 21, Lions 13 Expect The Lions to continue to keep this one close with Dante Culpepper at quarterback.
Giants 31, Raiders 7 All that talk about whether or not Eli would play really didn’t matter. The Raiders flat out stink.
Vikings 17, Rams 3 No Brett Favre show thus far. He has turned back into efficient Favre and he even threw a pick.
SpreadSHREDDER GAMES (Underlined team is who we picked):
Tampa Bay (+15) COVERING against Eagles, 7-21 Donovan looks good in his return from injury. He just needs to look good for about 4 more points in order to keep our hopes alive of seeing an undefeated SpreadSHREDDER.

Donovan has looked sharp thus far after returning from a rib injury.
THE FOLLOWING SUBJECTS NEED A HAFTIME PETPTALK:
Dallas Cowboys: Down by 7 at the half against a rebuilding Kansas City team? The Eagles and Giants, the Cowboy’s key NFC east foes, each had easy double digit victories over The Chiefs. The Cowboys had better wake up…unless they already have and they are just an average team under Tony Romo’s leadership. Troy Aikman must be dying to leave the booth to deliver this pep talk.
Oakland Raiders: Maybe Tom Cable needs to start slapping some coaches around. They played well coming off of that story, but have since fizzled.
