NFL SpreadSHREDDER, Week 8: Cutler’s Revenge, Parte Deux
__________________________________________________________________________SpreadSHREDDER Week 7 ATS: 1-1-1
SpreadSHREDDER Overall ATS: 13-8-1
Last week, many of you found out that The SpreadSHREDDEER had a sister because The SpreadSHREDDER was definitely making out with her with that 1-1-1 push weekend. Either way, we are officially halfway through the season and The SpreadSHREDDER has only had one losing week (week 2), which occurred on a weekend when 4 games were picked against the spread instead of 3. With The NFL at the halfway mark and plenty of games ripe to be bet on this week, we intend to atone for our only losing week six weeks ago with yet another 4-pick SpreadSHREDDER. Consider it a nice little Halloween treat.
Chicago (-13) over Cleveland
These are the games that were made to be bet on. Cleveland will be going on the road for the 5th time in 7 weeks playing a Chicago Bears team coming off of an embarrassing turnover-influenced blowout loss. The Bears realize that this will be a golden opportunity to gain ground in their division as the top two teams in their division will be playing each other in the late game.

Jay Cutler should get back on the beam against The Browns this weekend.
The Browns’ -7 turnover ratio is among one of the worst in the league and will lend itself to another likely blowout. Cleveland averages just over 13 first downs per game, (2nd worst in the league) and their offense will get no help from that cold Chicago weather as we roll into November. Chicago’s veteran staff should have no problem dismantling Cleveland at home. CHICAGO, 24-3
San Francisco (+13) over Indianapolis
San Francisco will be going through a quarterback switch as Alex Smith is expected to start under center, however this is just one of many reasons as to why the 49ers should cover. If you take out a blowout loss at home to The Falcons that was spawned by multiple turnovers, The 49ers still have a top 10 defense. The 49ers +3 turnover ratio also makes it hard to believe that they will suffer blowout at the hands of The Colts.
Expect Mike Singletary and The 49ers offense to play keep-away from Peyton Manning and The Colts with a strong running game lead by a healthy Frank Gore as the chemistry between Alex Smith and The 49er receivers continues to build. INDIANAPOLIS, 21-14
Tennessee (-3) over Jacksonville
Tennessee is coming off of a bye week, making a quarterback switch, and will be playing at home looking for its first win of the season. Tennessee is a very talented 0-6 team starved for a win, and much has been made of owner Bud Adam’s involvement in the team’s coaching decision. Vince Young will make plays when asked, and The Titans rushing attack should have no problems against an average Jacksonville defense. TENNESSEE 23-13.
BONUS SpreadSHREDDER PICK!
Arizona (-10) over Carolina
Arizona will be home playing a Carolina Team traveling across two time zones and bringing the worst turnover ratio in the leage with it. The Cardinals are beginning to find their rushing attack with the improved play of rookie Beanie Wells, and their pressure defense should create intense pressure for Jake Delhomme that will result in The Agin’ Cajun turning the ball over as only he can. If Arizona gets out to a quick lead on that fast track, it will be nearly impossible for Carolina to come back if all the pressure rests on their passing game which has proven to be their weak link. ARIZONA, 27-7.
