The Big Nasty World Tour: Oaks Christian vs. Jordan
__________________________________________________________________________This past Friday, The Big Nasty World Tour made a stop in Westlake Village, CA to see The High School Football Powerhouse Oaks Christian Lions host The Jordan Panthers. This was a good game, if you’re an Oaks Christian fan/student/booster, as Oaks Christian rolled early and never looked back. The final score was 42-7. Among many notable occurrences, it was particularly intriguing to get an up close and personal look at a top recruit as well as Joe Montana’s kid. Here are some of the highlights:

Montana was efficient en route to an impressive Oaks Christian win...no, not THAT Montana, his kid, Nick.
IN-GAME HIGHLIGHTS:
- RB Malcolm Jones (#71 on ESPN Top 150). Big, strong, runs upright and just seemed to be a man amongst boys out there. Jones’ running style is very similar to that of Adrian Peterson’s. On top of an impressive performance running the ball, Jones also returned an interception for a touchdown. Malcolm Jones is currently committed to UCLA.
- Nick Montana, Joe’s kid, was more than efficient as he went 5/6 for 3 TD’s, meaning he threw more touchdowns than incompletions and half of his passes went for scores.
- Jordan High got on the board late in the 4th quarter. We were sitting on the visitors side so it was a moment to behold.
NON-GAME HIGHLIGHTS
- We did not see Joe Montana. I grew up hating The niners, so that’s a highlight for me.
- This was a homecoming game and there was a float presentation where the four classes of students (Freshmen, Sophomores, Juniors, Seniors) each created a float to place on semis and show the viewing public. The theme was Epic Movies. Because we were sitting on the visitors side, we saw only the back of the floats as the home crowd oohed and aawed. Whatever. We were closer to the action anyway. The Seniors won which made sense because, looking at the back of their float, it was obvious that they used superior plywood.
- I spotted a ritzy resort on the way to the game that was just five minutes from Oaks Christian High. It was an impressive resort to say the least, but am I the only one who thinks that it’s also a high school recruiting violation just waiting to happen?
- On the way home I spotted the most immaculate Strip Club I have ever seen, called Mynx. I was stuck in traffic so I got a really good look. The lighting and structure of this club looked better than most nightclubs you would see in Vegas. Pac Man Jones would have loved it.
