__________________________________________________________________________The Hulkamania Wrestling tour is set to ‘run wild’ all over Australia, but not before the principles pull off a Hulktastic publicity stunt down under. Watch Australian footage of a Hogan/Flair fight that left Hulk Hogan in a pool of his own blood. Many believe this fight to be a shoot as a representative for Hulk Hogan, one of the greatest self-promoters in pro wrestling history, insisted that it was real. Even TMZ.com took the bait.
Hulk Hogan has reportedly admitted that the whole thing was staged, and why not, it’s Hulk Hogan: The King of the Publicity Stunt.
Obviously, TMZ.com isn’t up on their professioal wrestling, otherwise they would have been able to submit that while the blood and the ‘injuries’ may have been real (this is referred to as a blade job, all part of the work) this was nothing more than a real-life commercial for a huge tour that both Flair and Hogan need to be successful to keep up with their financial obligations.
