NFL Halftime Hindsight, The Late Games: Chargers 2nd half surge continues, Dallas tries to avoid annual ‘Collapse’ Criticism
__________________________________________________________________________Cowboys @ Packers, you took the under, right?: Penalties on The Packers have kept them out of the endzone and off of the scoreboard, but they squeezed in a field goal before the half to take a 3-0 lead over The Cowboys who are playing with equal intensity despite the fact that The Packers need the game more.
For those of you who care, The Chiefs lead The Raiders: Funny thing about this game is it is a ‘throwback game’ between two original AFL franchises, so both teams are wearing throwback jerseys, but you can’t tell unless you’re really REALLY paying attention…But who really, REALLY pays attention to Chiefs @ Raiders these days?

The Cowboys AND Packers look to silence their critics in a big game
Arizona continues increase their home-field animosity: The Cardinals are undefeated on the road this season but they only have one win at home. They trail the Seahawks 17-10 after one half. YOU try to figure this one out.
The Chargers continue their annual 2nd half surge thru one half of play: I don’t care what Norv Turner’s record was before he came to San Diego, the bottom line is ever since he got to San Diego The Chargers have been good when it counts the most and they overachieve in The Playoffs. This is something you couldn’t even come close to saying about The Chargers in The Marty Schottenheimer era. I’m down with Norv, and I’m down with The Chargers pulling another AFC West crown out of their little lightning bolt butts. But for now, they lead The Eagles 14-6 at the half in what should be a great game.
THE FOLLOWING SUBJECTS NEED A HALFTIME PEP TALK
The Oakland Raiders Offense: Miscues on key plays that The Raiders need have resulted in The Raiders trailing at home at the half in one of the few games that they really should win this season. Jamarcus Russell isn’t going to be playing in any pro bowls anytime soon, meaning he needs all the help he can get. And The Raiders haven’t given it to him.
