Scrooge NFL Front Office NOT in The Giving Mood: Fines for Ochocinco, Jay Cutler, Redskins, Others
__________________________________________________________________________In what has been a busy start to November for sports, The NFL Front Offices have had their own share of work as NFL Fines have crept into you daily headlines. Each fine is unique to its situation and would normally deserve a story of its own, but the amount of fines being shelled out by The No-Fun League have become a story in and of itself. Here is the list of fines handed down from the league:

The NFL Has been issuing fines at a fervish pace despite Chad Ococinco's pleas.
Chad Ochocinco fined $20,000 today for Playful Bribe [Yahoo! Sports]
Jay Cutler Fined $20,000 for abusive conduct towards official [ESPN]
Eagles Players fined $10,000 for ‘Captain’ Pose during game [USA Today]
Falcons Coach Mike Smith, 3 Redskins Players fined for sideline fight [United Press International]
…And this is just from this past week! This doesn’t include the Ray Lewis‘, Eric Mangini’s, Sheldon Brown’s, and at least 6 others (just to name a few) of the world. The NFL may not know it yet, but they are slowly turning into The Soup Nazi. Sure we are in a bad economy, but raiding the pockets of your employees at such an astounding rate is not the way to survive a recession. The NFL is doing better than ever financially, and there is no need to get greedy.
So whatever guy in a suit with a Dunce cap sitting in the corner of his office has been behind these ubiquitous and ridiculous fines, we simply ask you to lighten up and stop being so damned greedy.
