WKMG Does not Care about ratings
__________________________________________________________________________Here’s a funny story that was on Between The Ropes out in Central Florida. Apparently, the season premiere of Legend of The Seeker, a fictional adventure series usually on when you’re coming home drunk, was set to air in place of the upcoming Strikeforce fights that feature #1 Heavyweight Fedor Emelienenko in the main event.
'Legend of The Seeker' threatened to slay the ratings of a local CBS affiliate
The last time MMA was on CBS it drew over 4 million viewers, which local CBS affiliate WKMG did not feel was good enough to justify bumping Legend of The Seeker from its 9PM timeslot.
The network knuckleheads recently came to their senses and will now air the fights during the 9PM timeslot. Dungeons and Dragons guy will have to wait to see a Xena Warrior Princess knockoff kill dragons during late night television.
