Fresh off of another strong week and back to our winning ways, we have decided to welcome a celebrity handicapper this week to make picks in The SpreadSHREDDER for the first time ever. These picks will not effect the overall total of The SpreadSHREDDER as they are made by an outside handicapper.
Bob Mantz Jr. is an international insider who heads up the blog 'Bob's Blitz'.
Making picks for this special occasion is Bob Mantz Jr., one of Nasty’s Boys and an International Insider whose world renowned ‘Bob’s Blitz‘ column has appeared in esteemed publications such as Sports Illustrated and The New York Post. Coming off of a red hot 5-1 week last week, Mantz hopes to continue his momentum as Bob’s Blitz takes over The SpreadSHREDDER!
Colts -3 over JAGUARS. This is probably the game with the most mismatched line. Our computer rankings have it as -9. There is a 192 net points difference between the two rivals. Colts win by a touchdown or more – ending Jacksonville’s season. And keeping their undefeated drive alive – until next week.
49ers +9 over EAGLES. San Francisco needs this to keep their slim playoff hopes alive but Philadelphia is chasing the division. Philly’s a better team and the 49ers are coming across the country, but, they are not 9 points better. A cold Sunday keeps it closer than it should be as Philly wins by a TD.
SKINS +3 over Giants. Washington is actually much better defensively than the Giants are – dampening some of New York’s superior offense. Cold Monday night that we will be asleep long before it ends – Washington would like nothing more than to get their first divisional win by seriously damaging the Giants playoff hopes while killing their hopes of winning the division. Washington keeps it close.
