ESPN Actually Going Through With Plans to Celebrate ‘Bring Your Obnoxious Spouse to Work’ Day
__________________________________________________________________________Multiple media outlets, including US Magazine, are reporting that TV personality Elizabeth Hasselbeck will be switching jobs with former Washington Redskins Backup New York Giants Backup Philadelphia Eagles Backup Carolina Panthers Backup Arizona Cardinals Backup Buffalo Bills Backup NFL Quarterback and current husband Tim Hasselbeck on the respective January 28th broadcasts of The View and NFL Live.
The Hasselbecks will switch jobs on January 28th.
This idea, which doesn’t even sound good on paper to us, will feature the same aggressive and obnoxiously strong female personality that the 18-34 male demographic (a mainstay with NFL ratings) typically does not care for. While we in The Big Nasty Athletic Dept. love us some strong woman, we do not even like Elizabeth Hasselbeck. The outspoken former Survivor could excel in this role as we don’t know how much or how little she knows about football (as if that’s a qualification to host NFL Live), however we expect this to be more along the lines of the Monday Night RAW Guest Hosting Gimmick where celebrities are taken out of their element to act like they give a shit about pro wrestling while plugging their shit on national television.
Strong and outspoken women with quarterback hubbys on television. This is ESPN.
Does this mean we can expect a Brenda Warner sighting?
