The WWE’s immense growth has given way to developmental relationships with Florida Championship Wrestling, and with the Youtube Age we are able to efficiently scout up-and-coming talent before they make their debut on the big stage.  Before you see them get buried or pushed at the next level, you will have the rare opportunity to get an in-depth breakdown of the superstars of tomorrow today.  Talent will be evaluated on a five-star scale in 4 categories:  Overall Rating, Physique, Charisma, and In-Ring Work.

Kaval

Overall Rating: *****

Physique: ***1/2

Charisma: **

In-Ring Work: *****

Strengths: Fantastic in the ring with a  great high-flying/catch-as-catch can style.

Weaknesses: Quite dry on the mic.

Similar Styles: Rey Mysterio, Billy Kidman, Dean Malenko

Accolades: IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion (1x), ROH Champion (1x), NWA Tag Team Champion (3x), TNA X-Division Champion (2x)

Signature Moves: Dragon Sleeper, Diving double foot stomp, Variations of the crucifix

Scouting Report: Kaval has been patiently waiting, in the obscure-yet helpful confines of Florida Championship Wrestling since 2008, to get called up to the main roster.  There is no question that this highly touted high-flying shooter could he could go into the WWE right now and outwork 90-95% of his peers, but The WWE is known for working a more simplistic, pedestrian style that translates to a large mainstream audience.

Kaval, better known by his other ring name Low-Ki, is a household name on the independent circuit as he has become one of the most decorated independent wrestlers of this generation with notable stints in New Japan Pro Wrestling and Ring of Honor.

Despite his at times flawless work in the ring, Kaval may want to take a cue from Dean Malenko and become one of those ‘actions speak louder than words’ workers as he is not particularly enthralling on the mic (despite a fantastic voice reminiscent of Barry White).

Kaval’s very innovative and exciting style opens the door for built-in feuds with the likes of Rey Mysterio and Chris Jericho, however he needs to dial it down a notch if he’s going to be working for the fed 300 days a year.

A legitimate next-level concern with Kaval is his size, as you could be the best worker in the world yet still get buried at the next level if Vince gets his hands on a bigger, more muscular worker he wants to push (See Evan Bourne).  However if Kaval is protected, and placed into high-profile feuds that can showcase his intoxicating in-ring work, he is sure to become one of the next great acts that The WWE will have to offer.

Key Match: Kaval vs. D.H. Smith
