ESPN Uses Hyperbole to Get Your Butt to A TV Set
__________________________________________________________________________College Football, NFL |
Earlier today, NFL Network Analyst Charley Casserley declared, through his ESPN ‘deliver the company line or die’ blog, that this year’s draft class will be the greatest since the heralded class of 1983 that included Dan Marino, John Elway, Jim Kelly, and Eric Dickerson to name a few.
With the fact that The NFL Draft will be going Prime Time for the first time ever on ESPN, it is easy for the cynical to dismiss this as senseless hype from another ESPN Henchman. Although he may be right.
Notable NFL Draft prospects include:
Ndamukong “The Next Reggie White! Only those who really know football get him” Suh
Gerald “See Above” McCoy
C.J. “You just gotta see this guy run!” Spiller
Jahvid “Forget about J.J. Arrington, THIS guy will atone for him” best
Sam “Buy low sell high” Bradford
Jimmy “The only good that will come out of The Charlie Weis era in Notre Dame” Clausen
and tim tebow
We will be reviewing the NFL Combine and previewing The NFL Draft in what will be a busy March for The Big Nasty Athletic Dept.
