1. Wade Barrett-  Barrett looked comfortable in the main event and the enthusiastic endorsement of Chris Jericho will help his career tenfold.

2.  Justin Gabriel-  Gabriel possesses the always important ability to make his opponent look good as one can credit him with an assist for Darren Young’s best performance on WWE NXT.  Making your opponent look good is always key in the pro wrestling business, however if Justin Gabriel continues to make his opponents look too good he will quickly turn into Evan Bourne.

3.  Daniel Bryan-  The crowd wasn’t buying the possibility of a Daniel Bryan comeback against the significantly larger Great Khali, even though Khali was selling for him at one point.  Perhaps this match needed to be longer.  Miz off TV this week may have cooled down this feud, however the announcers did a good job of explaining that Miz set up the underdog match with Great Khali and inclusion of The Big Show was a nice touch.

4.  Darren Young- Is it just me, or does Darren Young look like John Cena in blackface?  Some of the Los Angeles crowd seemed to take a liking to this overly tanned beach bum (surprise), and Young did a good job of scooping C.M. Punk’s heat onto himself during the match.  TNA could learn a thing or two from this guy.    

5. Heath Slater-  To steal a Ross-ism, Slater’s match with Michael Tarver was bowling shoe ugly.  Lucky for Heath, it didn’t serve as a nail in his coffin.

6. Skip Sheffield-  Sheffield is slowly beginning to take form as the midcard comedy act we felt he would be.  His only real chance in The WWE will be to think of funny vignettes and begin to carve out a niche as an ‘attraction’ performer.  Sheffield has the look of a modern day Ivan Putski who could make some noise at the next level, but the WWE will not take him seriously given his thick Southern accent.

7.  Michael Tarver-  Poor Michael Tarver.  The guy was doomed from the start.  Paired with a pro many believe mailed it in years ago, and with no NXT episodes really focusing on him and his talents, Tarver was thrown into the fire cold (no pro) for his first singles match and looked lost.
