Before TNA adds yet another match to a card that has been one of their bigger events of the year, I figured I would take a stab at what would happen in TNA’s answer to Rage in the Cage.

James Storm over RVD. This match will decide what team will have the advantage in the Lethal Lockdown match, and it makes more sense for the heels to have that one man advantage throughout the match.  Storm wins with an assist from a beer bottle.

Motor City Machineguns over Brian Kendrick & Homicide. Why?  If I had a background story as to why this match is happening, then I could make an educated guess as  to what was going to happen.  If this is TNA’s way of saying “See, we didn’t forget about these guys!”  Then this is an epic fail.

Tara and Angelina Love over Velvet Sky and Madison Rayne.
All signs point to increasing the tension between Lov eand Tara by making them tag team champions.  Keep in mind that in this match we could see the Knockouts Championship change hands without the champion being pinned for the second straight time.

Team 3-D over The Band (Hall and Waltman). The Band is due for some comeuppance after that pesky Bubba The Love Sponge stuck his nose where it didn’t belong (in that match this past Monday, not in TNA).

Douglas Williams over Shannon Moore and Frankie Kazarian. Williams is one of the few (if not the only) X-Division wrestlers with some substance.  Believe it or not, TNA could salvage the X-Division by keeping the belt on Williams and having him in meaningful feuds with various X-Division wrestlers.  Williams’ hatred of The X-Division is one of the few bright spots in TNA, and this triple threat mach could easily steal the show.

Kevin Nash over Eric Young. Young wins with an elbow from the top of the cage only to be off TNA Impact the following night.

Ken Anderson over Kurt Angle. Anderson sends Kurt home to his young fiance’ for a while with a momentum-building win.  At some point, Anderson scratches Angle’s head with the key.

Lethal Lockdown: Team Hogan (Abyss, RVD, Jeff Hardy, Jeff Jarrett) over Team Flair (Sting, Beer Money, Desmond Wolfe). Hogan gets involved, Flair gets involved, Flair bleeds, and Abyss scores the winning pinfall.

A.J. Styles over “The Pope” DeAngelo Dinero. This feud has had the exact same amount of time to be built up as Anderson/Angle.  Anderson/Angle had a video package ready to go on the go home show of Impact.  Pope/Styles, your heavyweight championship main event, did not.  This lost opportunity ends with an uninspired win by A.J. Styles.
