UFC Cuts: Kimbo Exposed, Daley in Time Out

After another ugly showing, this time in a losing effort to Matt Mitrione, Dana White had seen enough as he released Kimbo Slice along with a considerable amount of value (in terms of buyrate) that still lingered.
Paul Daley was released after being outclassed for three rounds by Josh Koscheck. The release was not a result of Daley’s recent loss, but a direct result from a cheap shot delivered by Daley after the final bell.
Dana made the right call in dismissing Daley following his actions, but you and I both know that once cooler heads have prevailed Paul Daley will be back in the UFC. Daley is too good, and too marketable to “never fight in the UFC again” as Dana White explicitly stated in yet another one of his emotionally fueled post fight tirades.
