__________________________________________________________________________ESPN has officially defeated its own purpose of squashing yet another in a series of unflattering stories about LeBron James since the self-demanded proclaimed King took his talents to South Beach.

Since ESPNLA.com’s Arash Markazi had his story taken down for not correctly identifying himself while, um, covering LeBron in Vegas, a firestorm of criticism and scrutiny has followed what otherwise would have been your typical run-of-the-mill anti-LeBron piece.
Now, Jason Whitlock has gotten in on the fun as the ubiquitous playerhater compares LeBron James to Mike Tyson based on the fallout from the pulled story clicked round the world.
Sure it’s a reach, but Whits makes it work somehow.
