The Gorilla Press Previews TNA Victory Road

TNA’s Victory Road has grown into quite the bill, and is pretty stacked considering TNA’s affinity for dogging pay-per-views.
Rumblings of a possible Paul Heyman sighting were rampant, until of course Paul Heyman would himself would have none of such rumors.
Douglas Williams over Brian Kendrick.. Douglas Williams is quietly evolving into one of the best heels in TNA, and with the recent vanishing act of Where is Desmond Wolfe, Williams’ Englishman heel act has stood out more as of late. Brian Kendrick is but a foil for Williams’ increasingly impressive gimmick, and Williams wins by submission.
Brother Ray over Devon and Jesse Ray. Vince Russo woke up this morning and decided the world was not ready for another ill advised Team 3D split. Devon joins Brother Ray for a heel beatdown of Jesse Neal, and a tag team feud between Ink Inc and Team 3D ensues.
AJ Styles and Frankie Kazarian over Mystery TeamThe mystery team pushes Styles and Kazarian to the limit, but the two ill fated buddies pull off the improbable win. The mystery team, we think, is the once proud duo of Kevin Nash and Eric Young.
Madison Rayne over Angelina Love. TNA couldn’t possibly screw up Angelina’s career as well could they? As good of a job as Madison Rayne is doing with the Knockout’s belt sans The Beautiful People, the only way out of this for TNA is to put the belt on Angelina…barring a schmoz DQ finish. But TNA wouldn’t possibly…
Matt Morgan over Hernandez. Morgan constantly running away from Hernandez is a nice touch to build towards a cage match where there is no way out. TNA throws you a curveball and bypasses the foregone conclusion of Matt Morgan getting his comeuppance.
Motor City Machineguns over Beer Money Inc. TNA finally puts the belts on the Motor City Machineguns. As a result, Ric Flair continues to ignore any victories registered by Beer Money Inc since announcing auditions for Fortune.
Ric Flair Kurt Angle over D’Angelo DineroThe Pope loses his first match back in a pro wrestling rarity despite such an occasion (losing upon one’s return) being more true to life. Perhaps Ken Anderson gets involved, setting the stage for a future encounter between Anderson and Angle, then Anderson and Pope.
Jay Lethal over Ric Flair. Ric Flair does his best to hang with Jay Lethal as Lethal bumps like crazy trying to make Ric Flair look like Ric Flair. Lethal goes over in what is supposed to be a career defining win.
Rob Van Dam over The Abyss, Ken Anderson, and Jeff Hardy. “They” show up just in time to see “Their” alumni buddy beat “The” other three guys. TNA has to string this angle out just a bit more until they finally give into Paul Heyman’s demands.
