Your End of the Week College Football Violations Power Ratings

College football is currently in shakedown mode as the upcoming season approaches.  More than a handful of schools, most of which coincidentally happen to be powerhouses, are being questioned, investigated or downright pimp slapped by the unforgiving (and at times unreasonable) hand of the NCAA.

It’s the end of the week, so forget about that job you hate for a few minutes and, while you wait for Chris Paul’s “Decision“, take a look at our preseason top five NCAA rulebreakers.

5.  Georia. The NCAA is currently conducting inquiries on the Bulldogs stemming from possible violations of standout wideout A.J. Green.  Sure the word “inquiry” isn’t as piss your pants-inducing as “violation” or “revoked”, but the NCAA is in attack mode these days.  Should an NCAA official find out that A.J. Green ate part of a sandwich out of Drew Rosenhaus’ garbage, A.J. won’t be playing ball until the 2011 NFL season.   Nick Saban Media Days SEC Pimp

4.  Michgan. We still haven’t forgotten about the tear-filled saga that was practice gate, and Michigan’s latest rules violations are a large part of what we feel makes this a make or break year for Rick Rod and company.

3.  Alabama. Nick Saban’s mini-rant at SEC Media day concerning allegations that Marcell Dareus attended an agent’s party was enough to carry the Tide to the #3 slot.

2.  Florida. This Maurkice Pouncey business sounds like it can land Florida in some deep caca.  That is, of course, if it’s true.

1.  USC.  Long story short, our Trojans are fucked.
