Strikeforce held its Strikeforce: Houston card this past weekend as they watched not one but two potentially big money fighters and the future of the Strikeforce promotion go down.  Bobby Lashley loses Strikeforce

The big news coming out of this fight was former WWE Superstar, and Strikeforce’s answer to Brock Lesnar, Bobby Lashley suffering a TKO loss at the end of the second round to the obscure Chad Griggs.  Lashley was hurt early in the fight as Griggs landed an uppercut when Lashely shot in for a takedown attempt.

To make matters worse, the always entertaining light heavyweight champion “King Mo” Lawal suffered his first loss in Strikeforce to something called a  Rafael Cavalcante.

The defeat of two big names that Strikeforce has considerably invested in definitely hurts this promotion, and it doesn’t help that their biggest drawing star, the undefeated and mystical Fedor Emelianenko, recently suffered his first loss in a decade.

The asking price for Dave Bautista just went up.
