NFL Playoffs Ravens at Chiefs

The least-intriguing playoff game of this weekend sees the Kansas City Chiefs do battle with the Baltimore Ravens.  One will be hard pressed to find any type of juicy storyline between these two teams other than the fact that they’re both fighting for the right to be a sizable underdog at Pittsburgh next week.  Matt Cassel makes his playoff debut at quarterback for the Chiefs up against Joe Flacco, who has quickly developed into a playoff veteran, and a (buzz word alert!) dangerous Baltimore Ravens team.

Kansas City was unstoppable at home this season until they were taken apart by the Oakland Raiders last week.  Chiefs fan can view such a blowout as either a) an aberration  because they had already clinched and their starters mailed it in or b) a warning sign of things to come because a more talented Ravens team will probably do the same.

We’re going with the ladder.  The only saving grace for Kansas City is that Anquan Boldin disappears during Baltimore’s playoff run the same way he did in the fantasy football playoffs.
